SXSW 2014 Band: Spandau Ballet

All five original members of Spandau Ballet - 1980s pioneers of electro, funk and dance music - will be sitting down for an interview at the SXSW Music Conference on Thursday, March 13th in Austin Convention Center 18ABC starting at 3:30PM.

The interview will take place the day after Spandau Ballet plays their first show in the US since 1985 as part of the reopening of legendary venue Vulcan Gas Company (418 E 6th St). The band will also be performing as part of the Official SXSW Tribute to Lou Reed on the evening of Friday, March 14 at the Paramount Theatre (713 Congress Ave).

The world premiere of a documentary about the group, Soul Boys of the Western World, will also be showing at the SXSW Film Festival.

Join the five original members of Spandau Ballet - Tony Hadley, John Keeble, Gary Kemp, Martin Kemp and Steve Norman - as they recall stardom in a very different era and where their reunion might lead at the SXSW 2014 Music Conference.
