SXSW 2014 Artist: Kiko Veneno

This year, moving to a new venue in the heart of Rainey Street, Sounds from Spain returns with some of the best talent from the Iberian Peninsula.

Some of the acts include fusion leader Kiko Veneno, the acoustic rock and folklore-infused band Arizona Baby, and electronic fusion superstar duo Fuel Fandango.

Joining us from musical hotspot Valencia City, Betunizer stands out with their mix of hardcore, progressive, and punk metal that promises to deliver a high-energy show. From the same city, Soledad Velez’s impressive vocals, coupled with acoustic and electric guitars, create a dark and powerful live sound.

Indie rock band Lori Meyers is also on the bill. With a huge fanbase, a track featured in the The Hunger Games: Catching Fire soundtrack, and five albums under their belt, this act has landed a privileged spot in the Spanish indie rock scene.

Join these artists Friday, March 14th at 8pm inside Lucille Patio and Lounge!
