Founded in 2011 by South African born Adam and Shaun Lee, Bohemian Guitars utilize repurposed oil containers to create one-of-a-kind instruments inspired by the DIY designs of Johannesburg street performers.

Since their official launch at the 2013 Gear Expo, the independent company has flourished - moving from a homemade two man operation to a high demand manufacturer, with plans to stock at Urban Outfitters later this year.

Bohemian’s success story and unique designs have caught the attention of media, fans and musicians alike. SXSW 2014 showcasing artist G. Love is an avid supporter (with his own custom model) and they were featured in Forbes magazine’s SXSW coverage this year. Check out the video, including a guest appearance from Matt Healy of The 1975.
