Conference Sessions

During March 8-15, experience powerful conversations between industry heavy weights and explore what's next across 24 Tracks of programming. There's so much in store for the 2024 Conference including daily Keynotes (streaming at 1pm CT) and Featured Sessions. Film & TV Festival Screenings

Rolling out the red carpet, the Film & TV Festival spans March 8-16. From Hollywood heavy-hitters to indie film legends, there's something for every cinephile. Explore the entire 2024 Lineup of film, TV, and XR projects filling SXSW screens for nine days. Get to know official Film & TV venues and be sure to review important Paramount and Stateside venue access and policies that have been updated for this season.

Music Festival Showcases

Discovery comes alive for six nights featuring new and legendary artists during the Music Festival from March 11-16. Also catch daytime performances in an intimate setting between Conference sessions at the International Day Stage in the Registrant's Lounge from March 12–16 and the Radio Day Stage in Ballroom A from March 13–15.

Comedy Festival

The Comedy Festival's uniquely diverse lineup highlights many of today’s most compelling voices during a week-long celebration of comedy. The 2024 festival presents a full schedule of shows March 8-12, with intermittent programming through Saturday, March 16, including stand-up, sketch, improv, podcast recordings, conversations, and more.

Exhibitions

The Creative Industries Expo is the convergence of cutting-edge exhibitors from the world's of technology, design, social good, health and wellness, and more from March 10–13 from 9am–4pm. Plus, immerse yourself in the latest VR/AR and mixed reality storytelling at the SXSW XR Experience from March 10–12 from 11am–6pm.

Stay tuned for Flatstock 92 to browse through the world’s most influential and exceptional gig poster artists' work featuring handmade, limited-edition posters from March 13–15 from 10am–5pm.

Event Navigation Tips

Download SXSW GO to get event recommendations, view maps, network with other attendees, and build your schedule. The more Favorites the merrier – it's always good to have a backup plan.

Event Status makes it easy for you to check the current status of a room or a venue’s remaining capacity. A Green-Yellow-Red system appears on the SXSW GO app, the SXSW Schedule, and on the digital Event Status Boards located around the Austin Convention Center and other venues.

The SX pro's know – secure your event spot and jump to the front of the line with SXXpress (South by Express) Passes. Learn more about the digital pass that's open to all SXSW Badges. Daily SXXpress Passes are limited and go fast. If you miss the request period or all passes have been claimed for that event, be sure to follow the Event Status in the app to plan your arrival.

Browse our transportation services to make getting around Austin to your next session, meet up, film, or showcase easy. The SXSW Shuttle is a free circulating shuttle that runs between the Austin Convention Center and most festival venues.

Wear comfy shoes! Experienced registrants know that SXSW is a marathon, not a sprint. Plan to walk a lot, be weather ready, stay hydrated, and expect the unexpected discoveries that make SXSW unique!
