Watch NOFX: 30 Years of F*ckin’ Up Interview at SXSW 2016

You never know what to expect when you give NOFX an hour and four microphones at a music conference. Especially when they’re here to discuss their extensive new memoir NOFX: The Hepatitis Bathtub And Other Stories (and one of them may or may not have been “banned” from SXSW in the past). In the trusty hands of Kyle Ryan of The A.V. Club, the group took the chance to get intimate (not like that, really) and tell some jaw-dropping tales.

Of course, there are countless filthy tour stories (you’ve heard NOFX before, right) and anecdotes from back in the day. But let’s rattle off a few other topics covered: BDSM, shooting up heroin (and other activities) with Courtney Love, legit felonies, theft, counterfeit currency - and that’s the first fifteen minutes. Coming out of the gate strong, fellas.

Alternately hilarious, grim, disgusting, and tragic, it’s a deeply personal and engaging discussion. Maybe just don’t watch it with your mom?
