Jessica Hopper Discusses Sexism in the Music Business at SXSW

Music journalist and author Jessica Hopper sent out a Tweet asking women to share their experiences with sexism and misogyny in the music industry, and she received more than 1,000 responses.

At SXSW Music 2016, Hopper used some of these stories as examples of the huge challenges and barriers for entry women face in our business. She makes it clear that we all need to be active in changing the current working conditions for women and creating a more fair place to work for all people.
