2023 SXSW Film & TV Festival Lineup Announced With Dungeons & Dragons on Opening Night
Attention Film & TV aficionados: the initial 2023 SXSW Film & TV Festival lineup with everything from bloodthirsty demons and Flamin' Hot Cheetos to a toy designer from El Salvador and the highly anticipated Opening Night film Dungeons & Dragons: Honor Among Thieves, directed and co-written by Jonathan Goldstein and John Francis Daley.

"It's an amazing collection of films, TV series and XR experiences that promise to inspire, entertain and challenge our audiences. The SXSW Film & TV Festival is the premier destination for the best in new cinema, television, and virtual reality. Connecting filmmakers to fans while celebrating cinema and series with a diverse range of immersive narratives, interactive experiences, and vivid storytelling from around the world.
Feature Highlights include the Opening Night film, Dungeons & Dragons: Honor Among Thieves directed and co-written by Jonathan Goldstein & John Francis Daley; Evil Dead Rise directed by Lee Cronin; Problemista directed by Julio Torres; and Flamin' Hot directed by Eva Longoria.

Competition Awards
The Narrative Feature Competition, the Documentary Feature Competition, Poster Design, and Special Awards will be announced on Tuesday, March 14 along with all the Short Film Program winners, which are eligible for Jury Awards within their respective screening categories. All film categories, except Special Screenings and TV Spotlight, will be eligible for category-specific Audience Awards, which will be certified by the accounting firm of Maxwell Locke & Ritter and announced via sxsw.com the following week.
