Young People Win: Rethinking Advocacy in a New Era
In this session, legendary broadcast journalist Rather interviewed Hogg, who had been a student at Stoneman Douglas High School in Parkland, Florida, during its February 2018 fatal mass shooting and had become a vocal anti-gun activist, both as part of the group Never Again MSD and as co-founder of March For Our Lives. During the session, the pair discussed how adults can embolden young people to inspire change in the world.
