Michael Dell talks about entrepreneurism at SXSW on March 7

Why has Austin emerged as such an international hotspot for technological innovation? One can point to many factors for the city’s current lofty standing — but none of these factors are more important than the ecosystem built by Michael Dell. Since establishing Dell in 1984, this Texas-born entrepreneur has helped create the magnetic pull that continues to draw so much top talent to the city.

At the 2014 SXSW Interactive Festival, Michael Dell will be joined onstage by several other successful entrepreneurs for an insightful discussion about starting and scaling a business, innovating beyond the startup phase, corporate reinvention and leading through change. Other speakers for this can’t-miss session include Carley Roney (co-founder of The Knot (XO Group); Stephen Kaufer, (co-founder and CEO of TripAdvisor); and Jeff Housenbold (CEO of Shutterfly).

Scheduled Friday, March 7 at 3:30 pm in the Austin Convention Center, “Beginnings: A Panel About Entrepreneurism with Michael Dell” should provide a great starting point for your 2014 SXSW Interactive experience!
