Who Can Volunteer?
Volunteers must be at least 18 years of age, or older.* No special experience is necessary and there is a volunteer role for everyone!

How Do I Sign Up to Volunteer?
Online sign-up is now available to both new and returning volunteers.

Head to our Volunteer Registration page to create a record, select a crew, and create a schedule with our volunteer managers. However, for the best selection of crews and hours, it is important to sign up at your earliest opportunity. Don’t delay!

SXSW Volunteer Health Safety

 

We ask that all attendees and participants, including volunteers, follow the SXSW Health Pledge and exercise personal responsibility when attending SXSW events.

You are committed to:

  • Practicing respiratory etiquette, such as masking (where applicable) and / or covering your nose and mouth when coughing or sneezing.
  • Exercising good hygiene, such as frequently washing or sanitizing your hands.
  • Following the CDC’s recommendations for protecting yourself from, and reducing the spread of Covid-19 and other communicable illnesses.
  • Not working or attending any SXSW affiliated event if you have symptoms consistent with Covid-19 and/or have tested positive for Covid-19 and have not completed the CDC’s guidelines for discontinuing isolation.
