SXSW Registration and Housing opens for business August 1, 2016!
With excitement growing for SXSW 2017, we know many of you are eager to solidify your hotel and travel plans. SXSW Housing & Travel has once again contracted the very best selection of rooms at hotels around Austin. SXSW Registrants have first dibs when we go live on August 1. As SXSW veterans know, downtown rooms sell out quickly, but rest assured that we also offer many great hotel options outside the downtown area.

Now you can book your hotel and travel from one destination. SXSW Housing & Travel offers a powerful search engine that makes it easy to to scour the web for the best flight deals to Austin in March. If you have questions about traveling internationally or domestically, we’ve provided extensive information in the Travel section of our web site.
Applying to participate with SXSW?
A great selection of rooms are made available to other important SXSW participants including Panelists, Artists, Press, Filmmakers, and Trade Show exhibitors, among others. Many of these groups are not part of the August 1 launch and if you expect to attend in one of these capacities you must first confirm your participation with SXSW. Once your participation is confirmed you’ll be given the information and online access necessary to request hotel accommodations at SXSW rates through the Housing Department.
SXSW registrations are non-refundable, but if a good hotel is important, we encourage you to make your decision to participate as soon as possible so you can act quickly when online registration goes live.
