Grammy Award winner Carlile interviewed Moss in conjunction with the SXSW Film Festival screening of Moss' film Her Smell, in which she played a musician. During the session, the pair discussed how Carlile had actually helped prepare Moss for the role and hoped to help the actor bring authenticity and real-life insider experience to her performance.
