SXSW Music Conference is pleased to announce that musician and artist Amanda Palmer will give registrants an inside look at what makes her successful, artist-controlled cottage industry tick this March. From her sprawling, record-breaking Kickstarter campaign to touring, merch, recording and beyond, you'll hear from Amanda and her key team members on what it takes to make her DIY career a reality.

The Anatomy of Amanda Fucking Palmer: An Inside Look will feature Amanda herself, Vickie Starr and Kevin Wortis (Girlie Action), Nicole St. Jean (Topspin), Kendel Ratley (Kickstarter), and Martin Goldschmidt (Cooking Vinyl) on Wednesday, March 13 at 12:30pm at the Austin Convention Center.

Amanda will also take part in the People of Letters event (based on the popular Women of Letters series) on the 18th Floor of the Hilton Garden Inn Hotel on Tuesday, March 12, along with filmmaker John Sayles, musicians Jenny Owen Youngs, Emma Swift and others. More details on this event to come.
