Lady Gaga to Keynote SXSW Music

The news is out, y'all! Lady Gaga will keynote the SXSW 2014 Music Conference and we couldn't be more excited.

The five-time Grammy Award winning powerhouse brings her unique voice and talent to this year's event and joins an impressive roster of past keynote speakers including music legends like Lou Reed, Dave Grohl and Bruce Springsteen.

Lady Gaga came to prominence in 2008 following the release of her debut album The Fame, which sold over 15 million copies worldwide.

In 2013 Time magazine named her the second most influential person of the decade.

She is also a global activist and philanthropist, having been an outspoken supporter of many important issues including LGBT rights and HIV/AIDS awareness. In 2011, she launched her own Born This Way Foundation, a non-profit dedicated to empowering youth and creating a kinder and braver world.

So, come on out, Little Monsters and join us on Friday, March 14th at 11am in the Grand Ballroom of the downtown Hilton Austin for this once in a lifetime chance to hear from the Lady herself.

The keynote conversation will be led by John Norris of Fuse and is open to those with SXSW Platinum and Music registrations or Artist Wristbands.

Lady Gaga also performs Thursday night at Stubb's on the Doritos #BoldStage

For entry into the show, correctly credentialed attendees can go to the Connection Centers at the Austin Convention Center on Tuesday, March 11 and Wednesday, March 12 from 10:00am to 6:00pm CDT. For more information on the drawings click here.
