Foodies Rejoice! New Food Track to Beef Up the SXSW Interactive Program

You know what people love about food? Everything! For that reason (all the reasons), SXSW Interactive has covered food-related programming for some time now, but usually spread amongst our blogging and culture tracks. New to 2014, we wanted to expand on this with an entire day of food-related programming and we've partnered with KitchenAid to do just that.

Join us on Saturday, March 8 at The Blackheart at 86 Rainey St from 11am to 5pm for a diverse sampling of talks about and around all things food. We'll discuss everything from the advancements being made at the system level with precision agriculture to how social media and innovations in technology have changed how we dine out and even grocery shop. Notable participants include MIT CityFarm, Addie Broyles, Ned Elliott, and SouthBites curator (and fan favorite) Paul Qui, and other players in the new culinary movement. The full line-up of programming will be released in the coming days so stay tuned to our online schedule to get in on all the deliciousness.
