Every year at the end of March as a post-SXSW recap, I like to chat with credentialed press who attended the festival, discuss their experience and hear about their favorite part of the event.
Nine times out of ten, I get variations of the same response: press love access to the diverse programming, as well as the meaningful one-on-one connections with a concentrated group of digital creatives and companies they may have never met.

Do yourself a favor and do not wait until the last minute to apply. While we accept the press applications through February 5, 2014, the most desirable hotel rooms will definitely book up long before then.
