What is Style X?

Style X (pronounced: Style By) is a show that includes a pop-up retail showcase that will serve as a shopping experience matching SXSW Music’s breadth and depth with dozens of brands (instead of bands) from around the world bringing the latest designs in screenprinting and design, women’s, menswear, streetwear, swimwear and accessories. Style X will also include multiple fashion shows, each celebrating a different segment of style. Stay tuned for more information on the runway shows.

The show will take place on Friday March 16 from Noon to 8pm and Saturday March 17 from noon-8pm.

Even in its first year, we’ve had an amazing response to Style X and are working hard to make sure we create an event that truly reflects what is next in style and fashion in the world. Just as SXSW Music is selective in the artists and bands getting accepted for official showcases, we are being selective in building this show. That said, we recommend those interested to submit your application on the VENDORS page. A Style X representative will contact you shortly.

Is there a performance or music aspect to Style X 2012?

Yes, DJs will be performing during the fashion shows and those performing will be announced closer to the event.

Are there fashion shows happening at Style X 2012?

Yes, we will host four fashion shows, two each day, and information about these shows will be provided at a later date.
