Lead by principals Wes Winship and Mike Davis, Burlesque is a multi-disciplinary design and screenprinting studio based in Northeast Minneapolis. Since 2003, they have created posters, branding, stage graphics, and more for Arcade Fire, Stones Throw Records, Mad Decent Records, Gayngs, Rhymesayers, Doomtree, The Melvins, Phish, and Deathwish Inc, plus published fine art prints with David Choe, John Baizley, Jacob Bannon, Aaron Horkey, Aaron Draplin, and many others.
Each February for the last ten years, Burlesque organizes and hosts the annual Dre Day party. Originating in Minneapolis, this celebration of one of hip hop's most prolific and influential artists has exploded across the map, spawning official parties in New York, Chicago, Paris, Austin, and beyond.
