Paste party at SXSW will be bigger than ever. Four days. 44 bands. Two stages. Free drinks.This year’s
HGTV has teamed up with Paste for their ninth annual party at SXSW March 13-16. With 11 bands per day, the lineup includes both some of the festival’s most exciting veteran performers including Billy Bragg, Buddy Miller & Jim Lauderdale, Josh Ritter and The Zombies, as well as newcomers like Foxygen, The Lone Bellow and GUARDS. The SXSW Official four-day party will be held at one of 6th Street’s biggest music venues, The Stage on Sixth (508 E. 6th Street), from noon to 6pm.

Your guide to what's on at SXSW
YEE-HAW! Earlier this morning, Brooks Running Company kicked off their SXSW Cowboy runs in style. Attendees came in cowboy costumes and picked up Brooks SWAG and a custom SXSW shirt. A cowboy with a lasso and a lady sporting steer horns each won free shoes for best costume. Brooks is reminding us what it means to run happy.

On March 10th Heather Knight explains the philosophy behind social robotics in Charismatic Machines & Robot Technology. Leveraging her extensive research, Heather will shed light on the ways psychology, behavior system design and art influences the positive evolution of charismatic technology.
There’s going to be a new coffee brewing at SXSW this week.
GE invites you to Brilliant Brew, a new kind of coffee food truck with hi-tech, software enhanced coffee making. Come see two Barista Bots, robots with facial detection software, transform ‘Tonx coffee’ into a custom latte complete with your picture etched in the foam.
Innovation, creativity and inspiration are three of the main tenants that guide the ongoing organization of the SXSW Interactive Festival. Do your part to inspire the virtual and physical world by donating to either (or both!) of the two 501C3s that SXSW has chosen to support at this year's event.
