Building Tools for Creativity - SXSW Interactive 2013

Tumblr founder David Karp was born and raised in New York City, attending the Bronx High School Science before dropping out at age 15. An internship at Frederator Studios led to a gig leading product at UrbanBaby. When CNET acquired the company in 2005, Karp started his own development agency, Davidville. In 2007 his team launched Tumblr, now the home and platform for more than 85 million creators. As a top 10 US network, Tumblr serves an audience of more than 170 million people worldwide. In this session, David will give insight to the growth of the platform and where its headed.

SXSW Eco's PanelPicker is open for voting! From corporations using biomimicry to better their products to saving forests with paper, the sessions submitted for 2013 are as diverse and exciting as the event itself. Our staff has been hard at work developing new and improved events for this year's conference including:
