Startup Alley offers two places to discover and interact with entertainment entrepreneurs with the Launchpad—a curated exhibition featuring 16 top film, television and digital media startups—and Fastball Speed Pitches—a fast-paced elevator pitch event. This new track within SXSW Film takes place on Sunday, March 10 on the 4th Floor of the Austin Convention Center.

Celebrating the unsung heroes of the world of Title Design, SXSW will again host a special screening of our Title Design Award finalists.

The screening will take place Monday, March 11, 9:30pm in the Vimeo Theater, and we're pleased to reveal that field leaders Jay Bond and Ian Albinson will be conducting a conversation as part of the event.

Jay is an award-winning main titles designer and broadcast editor, and co-founder of Oily Film Company Inc. Oily were responsible for 2012 Award-winner Les Bleus de Ramville.

The SXSW Video Channel and its life partner, SXSW Audio, are both most excellent places to spend your pre-fest time.

SXSW Video offers many fine content options including music videos, film trailers and clips from past performances and featured speakers.

Why, you could hang out and watch FKi featuring Retro Sushi's video for "Stuntin." It takes place in front of a Waffle House and features a bike gang, something we're fond of here at the SXSW. Also, I sort of love that there's someone in the world called Retro Sushi.
