We Cause Scenes is the story of Charlie Todd, an actor who moved to New York with big dreams. Frustrated by the lack of available opportunities, Charlie began using the city as his stage, causing scenes in parks, bars, and subways, documenting these unauthorized performances online under the name Improv Everywhere. A prank collective ten years in the making, Improv Everywhere has grown from a few close-knit 22-year-olds staging guerrilla pranks on the streets to a global phenomenon incorporating hundreds of thousands of strangers.

Before sunrise on August 29, 2005 Nolan (Paul Walker) arrives at a New Orleans hospital with his pregnant wife Abigail (Genesis Rodriguez) who has gone into early labor. What should be one of the happiest days of Nolan’s life quickly spirals out of control when the birth goes tragically wrong and Hurricane Katrina ravages the hospital, forcing an evacuation.
