The king and creator of all things trill, Bun B, has some new tracks and collaborations he wants you to hear as he closes the “Trill O.G.” chapter with his new album, Trill O.G.: The Epilogue. Bernard “Bun B” Freeman’s latest album is a collection of unreleased tracks that were recorded during the making of his previous album, Trill O.G., but did not make the final cut. Epilogue features appearances from Big KRIT, 2 Chainz, Rick Ross, Kirko Bangz, and the late Pimp C.
Music isn’t the only thing Bun B has set out to master recently: he is the CEO of Trill Entertainment, he published a coloring book, he taught a hip hop & religion course at Rice University, and he started a successful food blog. But if none of Bun B’s new ventures suit your taste, then you can reminisce on the good old days every August 29th, dubbed Bun B Day, in Houston. Speaking of H-Town, Bun B will be performing with the Houston Symphony as the first rapper to ever perform alongside them on November 14th.
Tried-and-true SXSW alum, Bun B has performed during SXSW 2004, 2005, 2008 - 2011, and 2013. There is a reason we keep Bun B around. Tune in to Tha Fixx on SXSWfm today at 12 and 6 CST to hear why.
