Meet G-Eazy, commonly referred to as the James Dean of hip-hop. Born in Oakland, California, G-Eazy developed his skills after graduating from Loyola University New Orleans, producing music while he was still in school and becoming a staple in the local rap scene.
G-Eazy is feverously working to finish up his new album These Things Happen, which is set to release this spring. Meanwhile, he just began a 40-date headlining tour supported by two other SXSW 2014 showcasing artists Tory Lanez and KYLE.
Still unsigned, G-Eazy writes and produces his own music that solidifies his unique persona. This dapper rapper, along with his management team, will discuss his journey to success in the new music business at SXSW on Thursday, March 13th at the Austin Convention Center.
Giving us a taste of what to expect from his upcoming album These Things Happen, G-Eazy has released his new single “Far Alone.” The track marks a new chapter of his career, but G-Eazy is sure to note he wouldn’t be there without his past accomplishments.
