The Backbeat made it's final showcase announcement for the 2014 event on today's airing. Canadian label Dine Alone Records will host their first official showcase on Wednesday, March 12th at Bungalow off Rainey Street. The label is home to several SXSW stand out alumni such as Billy Bragg, FIDLAR, and The Lumineers.
This year's lineup will consist of Australian indie rock quartet Glass Towers, singer-songwriter Noah Gundersen, and Canada's own Tokyo Police Club, who will also perform at Hype Hotel the night prior. Also slated for the bill is pop-rock group The Apache Relay, garage rock band Clear Plastic Masks, and a new Dine Alone artist who is making their SXSW debut this season, Nashville's Fly Golden Eagle.
Tune in to The Backbeat every Friday at noon and 6pm central time to hear music from some of the best rock bands to have performed at SXSW over the years.
