The Backbeat was excited to announce two new 2014 showcases on today's show.
Media and management company Crash Avenue will be hosting their first official SXSW music showcase on Saturday, March 15th at Parish Underground. Brooklyn punk duo Japanther will headline the night along with SXSW regulars BRONCHO playing direct support. Psych rock band Secret Colours are also on the lineup and will return to Austin this May to perform at Austin Psych Fest. CHAPPO, The Shilohs, and The Zoltars are also slated for the bill.
The Convoy Group and Clean Bill Management will also be joining forces to present their first official showcase on Saturday, March 15th at Dirty Dog Bar. The lineup is comprised mainly of Texas based acts and Austin darlings Wild Child will headline the night with Houston's The Tontons playing direct support. Also on the lineup are R&B group The Suffers, pop quartet Featherface, and dance act Ishi.
