Here are some local Austin bands looking to make a splash at SXSW 2014:

Local techno-pop and new wave group Orthy released their E.M.I.L.Y. EP on January 21st, and they have recently been featured on The Line Of Best Fit and The Fader.

The Wheeler Brothers, an Austin quartet who recently featured in Paste Magazine, performed at Newport Folk Festival last fall and Lollapalooza over the summer. They have won 7 Austin Music Awards and their hometown shows always sell out.
