He co-founded Whole Foods in the laid-back college town of Austin in 1980. Over the last three decades, this health-conscious grocery brand has blossomed to more than 350 stores throughout the United States and the United Kingdom, with more than 58,000 employees and billions of dollars in annual revenue. Such massive growth led him to pen a best-selling manifesto based on his businesses practices and beliefs.
