How to Find Events

This year's online schedule provides you with a multitude of ways to filter events. Here are some examples of ways to filter and browse through the expansive selection of SXSW programming.

Browse All Events:

The "All Events" tab displays all Interactive, Film and Music events for whatever date you select (March 9-18). The color coded tabs to the left of the event name designate the event as an Interactive (orange), Film (blue) or Music (green) event. An event that is accessible to multiple badge types will show up more than once in the schedule, one listed for each conference according to color. Additionally, you can filter all events by “Time”, “Events”, “Speakers” and “Venues”. All TBA events will be listed first.

You can further filter all events using the "Collapsed Time", "Event Name", "Speaker Name" and "Venue Name" radio buttons located on the left hand side of the screen.

*Note that if you choose to filter by "Event Name", only events for the letter that is currently selected will display. So, if you want to see events starting with the letter "G", be sure to filter by event name and then select "G" from the alphabet bar.

Browse Conference Specific Events::

What if you are only interested in searching for Music events? No problem, you can browse the schedule for conference specific events as well. Simply click on either the "Interactive", "Film" or "Music" tabs, select the date you would like the browse, (dates for specific conference events will be highlighted in the drop-down menu), and all events will display according to whatever tab you have highlighted: "Time", "Events", "Speakers", and "Venues".

We also encourage you to use our search bar to search our 5,000+ events. And to make perusing our online schedule even easier, we have added "shortcut" tabs at the top of the schedule that allow you to browse bands by venue, browse just film events and browse speakers for all three conferences.

*Keep in mind that we launched the schedules earlier than ever this year, so most events are still TBA. The schedules will be continuously updated as more events are confirmed and more specific time, date and location information becomes available. You should continue to add events of interest to your schedule and as time/venue information become available it will automatically show up for that event on your personal schedule.

We encourage you to play around with the schedules to get the hang of what filtering options work best for you. Have fun, and if you have any questions feel free to email support@sxsw.com
