How to Find Events
This year's online schedule provides you with a multitude of ways to filter events. Here are some examples of ways to filter and browse through the expansive selection of SXSW programming.
Browse All Events:
The All Events tab displays all Music, Film and Interactive events for whatever date you select (March 13-22). The color coded tabs to the left of the event name designate the event as an Interactive (orange), Film (blue) or Music (green) event. An event that is accessible to multiple badge types will be marked using the color-coded dots. You can find additional information about accessibility on the event details page. Additionally, you can filter All Event Types by Time, Events, Speakers, Venues and Themes. All TBA events will be listed first.
You can change the schedule display to filter events using the Detailed, Compact and Super Grid options.
*Note that if you choose to filter by Event Name, you will jump to events for the letter that is currently selected. So, if you want to see events starting with the letter "G" be sure to filter by event name and then select "G" from the alphabet bar.
Browse Conference Specific Events:
What if you are only interested in searching for Music events? No problem, you can browse the schedule for conference specific events as well. Simply click on either the Music, Film or Interactive tabs, select the date you would like to browse, (dates for specific conference events will be highlighted in the drop-down menu), and all events will display according to whatever tab you have highlighted: Time, Events, Speakers, Venues and Themes.
We also encourage you to use our search bar to search our 5,000+ events. And to make browsing our online schedule even easier, we have added "shortcut" tabs at the top of the schedule that allow you to browse Bands by Venue, just film events, speakers for all three conferences, and lounges. By clicking Shortcuts you can browse additional SXSW Tracks (i.e. SXsports) and Exhibitions. Themes will help you browse my programming themes (i.e. Data).
How to Add an Event
Once you are logged in you can add an event to your schedule by clicking on the event name and then clicking the star. An event that has already been added to your schedule will be denoted by a yellow star. Additionally, you can view all events in your schedule by clicking the My Schedule tab.
*Keep in mind that we launched the schedules earlier than ever this year, so many events will still be marked TBA. The schedules will be continuously updated as more events are confirmed and more specific time, date and location information becomes available. You should continue to add events of interest to your schedule and as time/venue information become available it will automatically show up for that event on your personal schedule.
Register to attend SXSW 2015 today and start building your schedule! We encourage you to play around with the schedules to get the hang of what filtering options work best for you. Have fun, and if you have any questions feel free to email email@example.com.
