For 2013, SXSW Interactive is partnering with Mass Relevance to provide an innovative digital platform for the Q&A sessions during the Keynote and Featured sessions taking place in Exhibit Hall 5 of the Austin Convention Center. This platform will curate the social content in real time for redisplay on the screens during the Q&A. The interface will source questions from the audience prior to and during each session using a distinct hashtag.
SXSW Music is excited to announce an interview with hip hop superstar 50 Cent on Saturday, March 16. Hear him tell of his meteoric rise to fame from humble beginnings in Queens, to his discovery by Eminem in 2002, which blasted off an incredibly successful musical career and his own label, G-Unit Records. He'll discuss how he parlayed this into a significant hip hop empire, as well as his current work with SMS Headphones and the upcoming release of his album Street King Immortal.

Vice is barreling into Austin for SXSW 2013! Their compound, aptly named VICELAND will be an official lounge during SXSW Interactive, with live music every night, and will turn into an official showcasing venue during SXSW Music. Head on down to VICELAND for WiFi, food and drink, meetings, debauchery, quiet time, and some unexpected twists. In Vice's own words: "It's going to melt your face and then your laptop, and anyone else's face or laptop within your vicinity."
