2013 Showcasing Artist AM & Shawn Lee
AM & Shawn Lee’s 2011 debut album, Celestial Electric, was packed with soaring lead guitar lines, lush keyboards, and simplistic percussion. The collaboration of multi-instrumentalist Shawn Lee and singer-songwriter AM was successful on Celestial Electric, and their recently released new song, “Two Times,” shows us that they are staying consistent with the sound they created on that record. Keep an eye out for AM & Shawn Lee’s new album, La Musique Numerique, later this spring.

2013 SXSW Showcasing Artist Wild Child
According to their biography, Austin’s own Wild Child creates music that is defined by "gorgeous harmonies, tempered rhythms, and conflicted lyrics about love and loss." The band has been busy recording a follow-up album to their 2011 debut, Pillow Talk, while wearing tiger and rabbit onesies. Produced by Native Texan Ben Kweller, Wild Child’s second full-length album should be available later this year.

2013 Showcasing Artist Bonobo
Producer and DJ Simon Green has been releasing music under the name Bonobo since 1999! The North Borders, the British DJ’s first full-length since 2010’s Black Sands, will be in U.S. stores this week. The North Borders features collaborations with Erykah Badu, Grey Reverend and more. In support of his new full-length, Bonobo will be touring with his live band throughout the U.S. this spring.
