SXSW Streaming Audio Feature: Feature: Q & A with Google and Bing On Website Ranking

Being listed well in Google can generate hundreds, thousands or even millions of visits per week, but for many it's a mystery about how Google ranks one site over another. Likewise at Bing they have their own approach to their search that "powers" both Bing and Yahoo. In this session Danny, Duane and Matt discuss each company's search strategy and answers questions about SEO.
Danny Sullivan has been helping webmasters, marketers and everyday web users understand how search engines work for 15 years. He currently heads up Search Engine Land as editor-in-chief, which covers all aspects of search marketing and search engine news. Duane Forrester is a Senior Product Manager with Bing, working on their Go To Market team (Webmaster Tools). Matt Cutts is the head of the webspam team at Google, where he works on issues related to search engine optimization (SEO). He also works to improve Google's overall search quality.
