The SXSW Music Conference and Festival wants to congratulate the more than 70 alumni artists and speakers nominated for the 57th Annual Grammy Awards last week! The nominees, which were announced this past Friday, December 5, include a large number of our former showcasing artists and conference speakers from several genres and sectors of the industry.

On the festival side, our highlights include Alt-J's nomination for "Best Alternative Rock Album," 2013 Grulke Prize-winners Haim receiving a nomination for "Best New Artist," and several nods for Beck, including "Album of the Year".

Our former Music Conference speakers nominated include Chilean MC Ana Tijoux, producer Gavin Lurssen for his fine engineering work on Lee Ann Womack's newest album, 2014 SXSW Music Keynote Lady Gaga for her collaborative album with Tony Bennett (titled Cheek to Cheek), and much more!

See the full list of SXSW Music Alumni nominees below! Please excuse us if we've overlooked anyone - there are a lot of categories to peruse. The 57th Annual Grammy Awards will take place on Sunday, February 8, 2015.
