The SXSWedu Education Expo is a free-and-open-to-the public event celebrating the Central Texas community's hunger and passion for lifelong learning, from cradle to career and beyond on Tuesday, March 4 from 2:00pm - 8:00pm.

The Education Expo provides a collaborative community environment for learners of all ages to explore their immediate and long-term education and career goals. With hands-on, interactive exhibits, the Education Expo offers attendees the opportunity to engage with local education initiatives as well as the educational and career choices with which they are most intrigued. Students, parents and educators who pre-register will be entered into drawings for prizes at the event.

Education Expo Highlights:

  • Future Plans, a re-imagined college and career fair driven by students' interests in finding and fueling their individual passion.
  • STEM Central, highlighting local science fair winners and education tools for next generation learning.
  • School District Installations, supporting public school districts connecting and engaging with the community.
  • Informal Learning including after school programs, online programs and summer camps.
  • Continuing Education for adults interested in expanding their skill set for a rapidly evolving economy.

In addition to the compelling line up of speakers, a growing list of colleges, universities, trade schools, continuing education programs, recruiters and employers will be represented at the 2014 Education Expo. Check out the exhibitor list now to see who will be there and learn more.
