The LP Questionnaire/Pick Three - Bobby Bare Jr.
You may know that Bobby Bare Jr. was nominated for a Grammy at the tender age of eight (with this father for the song "Daddy What If").
You may not know that he was a train engineer when he was 19 years old - of a real train - at Opryland USA in 1986.
Or that he is afraid of elves.
But you might know that George Jones and Tammy Wynette were his next door neighbors while Bobby was growing up in Nashville.
Here's some more things you may or may not know about...
The LP Questionnaire
Name: Bobby Bare Jr.
Pro Wrestling Name: Uncle Joker
1. Pretend you’re 15. Name three songs you'd put on a mix tape for your girlfriend. It was 1982 - I was 15 - I would for sure put Oingo Boingo "Only a Lad." The Police "Can't stand Losing You." DEVO "Uncontrollable Urgh."
2. Which evil villain would make the best President? Sponge Bob. He scares the shit out of me - he would be a great president
3. What was your favorite cartoon as a child? Bugs Bunny - such a smart ass.
4. What superpower do you wish you had? Mind Reader. People hide the most interesting parts of themselves - good and bad.
5. What would the title of your autobiography be? More Songs About Girls Who Don't Like Me - The Book
Pick Three
Smokey Robinson: Never seen him play. And he is a pretty pretty man. It's really fun to see someone play hit songs - real hit songs - instead new songs I have never heard before, which is most bands at SXSW.
Centro-Matic: Have not seen them much since our last tour and I love their "thing"! I am also hoping to use one of their amps so I am giving them a shout out to butter them up.
Stone Temple Pilots: Dying to see which version of Perry Farrell Scott Weiland will be performing as.
I think I've posted 900000000 of these. You can read them all here and be amazed by neat people.
Twitterings are happening @sxsw and @mspark.
It's a one taco town, lp
