Nothing can prevent a case of SXSW Scurvy like a chance to recharge. The Chevy Volt Recharge Lounge on the NW entrance of the Austin Convention Center is a place for you to recharge yourself and your devices. A charging bar, tables, and couches are available with lots of outlets for your charging needs. The lounge is also outfitted with mobile charging stations to power up your phones.

Charging up your devices doesn’t help much if you don’t recharge your body too. SoBe will be handing out samples to keep you hydrated and energized.

We’re all friends at SXSW, but sometimes the competition for plugs outside of panel rooms can get a little fierce. There haven’t been any incidents (yet), but Chevrolet is providing surge protectors and paying for extra voltage on the 3rd and 4th floors to make it easier for everyone to play nice. These surge protectors add an extra 240 outlets upstairs.
