Making a Difference at SXSW
Another year at SXSW Interactive means another charitable lanyard initiative from the wonderful folks over at Emma. Not content to simply sponsor the lanyards, Emma utilizes their marketing wizardry to make a positive impact with their unique placement around the necks of SXSW Registrants each year. These innovative programs not only reaffirm one's faith in humanity, but put grins on chins with their lighthearted approach.
Two years ago they amused registrants as they stumped hard in their campaign for trees. Run in conjunction with Plant-It 2020, Emma's innovative lanyards successfully rallied registrants to support the "Vote Yes for Trees" campaign. Last year, Emma decided to put the power in the hands of Interactive Registrants with their 40 Classrooms in Four Days program. Run in conjunction with DonorsChoose.org, the initiative allowed registrants to choose to support education initiatives that would otherwise go unfunded.
This year? No word yet, but we hear Emma will be tackling hunger. Be sure to check back, the official landing page will be dropping soon enough.
