The Zeros to Headline Requiemme Showcase
The hook laden garage punk of The Zeros helped establish punk rock on the West Coast back in 1977.
In 2009 the band reunited and packed clubs from San Francisco to New York and we look forward to seeing them headline the Requiemme Showcase at the SXSW Music Festival this March!
Also playing the Requiemme Showcase are Mad Juana, the gypsy side project of New York Doll and former Hanoi Rocks bassist Sami Yaffa, and Lady Dottie and the Diamonds who had a successful self titled release on Hi Speed Soul Records and stole the hearts of Spain with their rock, soul and blues dance party. Darlings of Chelsea bring the streetwise swagger and lethal one-two punch of real rock 'n roll from an all-star Toronto lineup. Rounding out the showcase are German pop songwriter Maren Parusel who arrived on the California Music scene just five years ago and has since attracted the attention of big names like Linda Perry and The Killers and Transfer, a band from San Diego that released the highly anticipated recording Future Selves late last year, and plan to tour heavily this summer.
