SXSW Interactive knows that San Franciscans can throw a heckuva party, but The City really opened its arms wide to welcome our visiting Texas contingent. Spirits were high, and el vino did flow, but folks still managed to learn new ways to convince their boss to invest in SXSW Interactive this March. No one was more excited than Maya Gura, co-founder and Vice President of Community Marketing at The Gifts Project, winner of the free SXSW Interactive registration drawing.

We'd like to thank everyone at Slim's, the amazing venue that hosted our event (especially Nancy, Dana, Dawn, Kyle, Scott, Tony, and Steve), and the Hotel Rex for giving us a sweet place to crash (thanks, Xavier!). Of course, we couldn't have done it without help from our public relations partner, Porter Novelli (thanks Karen, Devorah, Carol, Cat, and Christy) and our wonderful SXSW Interactive volunteers (we're looking at you Jennifer, Brian, Betsy, and Andrea). A delightful time was had by all, and our only lingering regret is we have yet to ride the trolley. Well, there's always next year!
