To kick-start this year's Music Conference and Festival, SXSW teams up with NPR to present a showcase headlined by Austin's own indie-rockers Spoon. The band will have just returned from a European tour and the concert at Stubb's will mark the first U.S. performance of material from Spoon's new album Transference, set to debut January 19.

In anticipation of the Wednesday, March 17 show, NPR Music is offering an advance stream of Transference, one week before its release, as part of the “Exclusive First Listen” series. Hear the entire album for free here now through January 19. Just in case that free sneak preview wasn't enough, the concert will also be streamed live, podcast and archived at www.npr.org/sxsw for your listening enjoyment!
