Freshly Picked Music Panels

ARCHIVED POST FROM 2010

ngozi_odita.jpegRadical change is in the air for the SXSW 2010 Music Conference. The setting is still the Austin Convention Center, but the panels have been transformed. We crowdsourced ideas via the PanelPicker, asked our community to vote on those ideas, and consulted with our Advisory Board. The results? We are excited to announce a batch of about 40 sessions (after the jump) that represent this new and unique form of collaboration.

stephen_brower1.jpgFrom Wednesday March 17 through Saturday March 20, these ideas will come to fruition. We've listened to your votes, and now fresh faces will step up to the mics. We're working closely with these moderators to develop programming that offers innovative perspectives on the music business. Register today to check out the new look of the SXSW 2010 Music Conference. Also new to 2010, showcasing artists now have access to all four days of the music panels. Check back here often for more panel announcements and schedule information to come!
