Today sees the release of SXSW 2008's The New Year Parade on DVD. Directed by Tom Quinn, the film will be released on Carnivalesque Films, founded by 2 more SXSW alumni, David Redmon and Ashley Sabin (Intimidad, SXSW 2008 world premiere).

The label also recently released Alex Karpovsky's Woodpecker on DVD. The acclaimed film received its world premiere at SXSW 2008.

There are a number of other SXSW films already available on Carnivalesque, including Orphans (Ry Russo-Young, 2007), Manhattan, Kansas (Tara Wray, 2006) and more, so head to their store now and pick up some early christmas gifts!
