Less Than One Month Left to Apply for a SXSW Music Showcase!

That's right y'all, the deadline to submit your showcase application is November 6th. Then we start the invitation process. If you have not already, go to sonicbids.com/sxsw and follow the links to apply.

Sonicbids is the official online submission partner for SXSW 2010. Your Sonicbids EPK allows you to quickly and easily compile all of the info SXSW wants to see about your act - your music, bio, photos and more. If you don't have an EPK yet, don't worry. They'll help you create one as part of your application.

To apply online using Sonicbids, log in to your Sonicbids account and look for SXSW in the Find Gigs section or head to sonicbids.com/sxsw. If you’re not already a member, you can create an account - it’s free for 6 months when you apply to SXSW. The free trial period is a terrific opportunity to try out all of Sonicbids services, but if you decide that Sonicbids isn't for you any time after applying, SXSW will still have access to your uploaded materials. From there, you can create your Sonicbids Electronic Press Kit, which we’ll use to listen to your music and review your press materials. You won't need to upload any additional materials.

The Showcase Application fee is $40 and must be submitted no later than November 6, 2009.
