Jeff Howe Talks Crowd Sourcing on Sunday, March 15

For 2009, more than 30 authors will be part of the Book Reading program at the SXSW Day Stage Cafe (which is adjacent to the Film & Interactive Trade Show on Level Four of the Austin Convention Center). One of the recent releases that will be featured in this program is Jeff Howe's August 2008 title "Crowdsourcing: Why the Power of the Crowd is Driving the Future of Business".

This new book describes the process by which the power of the many can be leveraged to accomplish feats that were once the province of the specialized few. Howe will talk about the positive -- and negative -- aspects of the popularity of the crowdsourcing movement on Sunday, March 15 from 4:00-4:30 pm (note that the previously-published time of 10:00-10:30 is no longer correct).
