The LP Questionnaire/Pick Three - Amanda Palmer

amanda_palmer.jpgSinger, pianist and performance artist Amanda Palmer went to high school with Eugene Mirman and Alina Simone. Eugene was the Maid of Honor at Alina's wedding while Amanda was the best man.

She also lived in the same house as MGMT at Wesleyan, though years before. You know who also went to Wesleyan? Santogold... and Akiva Goldsman, Sebastian Junger, Joss Whedon and Bradley Whitford. Okay, this is starting to sound a bit like six degrees of separation.

Amanda did her senior year performance art project showing up naked and dead at different spots of campus. She was also a street performer for six years as a living statue dressed as a bride. Not everybody knows that.

What you might know about Amanda is that she's a Dresden Doll who released a solo record produced by Ben Folds last fall called Who Killed Amanda Palmer. I found her blog syndicated on The Huffington Post.

This cool lady was kind enough to do the ol' LP Questionnaire and Pick Three.
