Our Heart Aches For Syria: Omar Souleyman Interview & Syria Benefit Show

Omar will speak with Daily Dot Editor Austin Powell about the issues surrounding the devastating conflict in his home country, the evolution of the Syrian music landscape, and what the future may hold for himself and artists like him. Later that evening Omar will be joined by the amazing Black Lips, Deer Tick and more in a special performance at a Red Cross benefit aptly named Our Heart Aches For Syria. The show takes place at Long Center For The Performing Arts beginning at 9pm on Friday 3/15 after the Flaming Lips Auditorium Shores show. Donations are $10 with all money going to the International Red Cross's Syrian Arab Red Crescent.
