For the past three years running, Chevrolet has brought a fleet of Cruze sedans and Equinox crossovers to provide continuous shuttle service throughout the duration of the festival. The “Catch a Chevy” program is a huge convenience to our registrants, providing upwards of 10,000 rides each year. Vehicles can be hailed just like a taxi, or caught at the designated “Catch a Chevy” stop at 4th & Trinity right outside of the Austin Convention Center. Once you catch a ride, they will take you anywhere you want to go in downtown Austin, and the best part; it is 100% free for SXSW badge and wristband holders. Chevrolet is looking forward to showcasing the latest technologies like <a href="http://www.chevrolet.com/mylink-vehicle-technology.html">MyLink</a> and vehicles like the Spark and Sonic at SXSW 2013. Chevrolet hopes to draw inspiration from the festival that will spark their spirit of ingenuity with new opportunities to enhance the vehicles their customers already know and love. SXSW will provide Chevrolet with one of the first opportunities to debut the <a href="http://media.gm.com/media/us/en/gm/news.detail.html/content/Pages/news/us/en/2013/Jan/0107-find-new-roads.html">"Find New Roads"</a> platform, their new unified global vision, in a creative atmosphere. The Chevrolet Volt Recharge Lounge will also be returning once again to serve as an oasis for weary festival-goers, where they can relax and give their mobile devices a charge. Chevrolet is sure to have even more up their sleeve for SXSW 2013, so stay tuned to find out.
