The SXSW® Music and Media Conference is back for its 27th year. Our reputation as the biggest and most anticipated convergence of all things music is being kept alive by our continued effort to offer compelling daytime programming and stellar nighttime showcases.
It doesn’t get much better than spending the day on a breezy balcony overlooking the crowds of Sixth Street during SXSW Music. Add in 12 top-notch bands from around the world and you have the Sonicbids Official SXSW Party at Maggie Mae’s, presented by JanSport. The annual party begins bright and (almost) early at 11:30am on Friday, March 15th. The party takes over both floors of Maggie Mae’s allowing for non-stop music into the early evening.
SXSW's Video Channel is your repository for all things visually excellent in the world of SXSW, like this clip from last year's Conversation with Seth MacFarlane, who gives you a taste of Peter Griffin vis a vis tales of Rhode Island.

Exciting news as we continue to announce some of the much anticipated acts who will join Nick Cave and the Bad Seeds on Wednesday, March 13 for the NPR showcase at Stubb's. Yeah Yeah Yeahs will be making a stop to perform in support of their new upcoming album, Mosquito. They've already released the crazy cool cover art and a teaser video. Check it out on their site. And see them live at SXSW Music 2013!
