The SXSW® Music and Media Conference is back for its 27th year. Our reputation as the biggest and most anticipated convergence of all things music is being kept alive by our continued effort to offer compelling daytime programming and stellar nighttime showcases.

2013 Performing Band Savages
With just over 800 bands already announced, the excitement for SXSW 2013 Music Festival is palpable, but we're not done yet. We are just scratching the surface. While a plethora of genres and countries are well represented in our initial lists, you can rest assured that there are many more additions to come.
We are hard at work, continuing to select bands for the perfect mix of established icons, crowd favorites and up-and-comers from all over the world. Capturing the unparalleled exposure to the industry and media that SXSW provides, these acts are certain to bring their A-game.

International Sessions at SXSW 2013
Clearly, the music business does not begin and end with the U.S., and SXSW is always eager to embrace music from around the world– it's part of what makes SXSW so special, and it's not limited to just performances. In addition to our new International Day Stage in the convention center, the Music Conference will examine the music business from a global perspective.
